II Procedure, by following the candidate member

In general the Amstel Club rules with regard to the admission of new members apply. For the candidate member, the following will be specified with regard to the support of the candidacy:

- A membership application requires a total of at least two supporting names. The Chairman of the Board as well as members of the balloting committee are excluded as a sponsor / member of recommendation for a new member.

- If the applicant knows fewer than two members, then on special request the missing names can be replaced by good references, with name and function.

- Submit CV + personal motivation by candidate member. In exceptional cases, the Board can decide to deviate from the procedure.

The Board of the association may, in exceptional cases, decide to depart from the procedure

III. Procedure, to be followed by the Board

  1. . A balloting committee, consisting of three members, including one former board member and one incumbent member of the board, examines the application, including the procedure followed for the registration and the content, in particular the support of the application.
  2. The balloting committee communicates its findings to the Board through the Club Manager. If the Board, after having heard the judgment of the balloting committee, decides positively with regard to the candidate, the club manager will publish the application for membership in a circular to the members, under the heading: CANDIDATES.
  3. Members who object to the candidacy must notify the Chairman of the Board of this within a period of two weeks.
  4. If the Board does not receive any objections within the set term, the membership of the new member will be announced in a circular under the heading: NEW MEMBERS.
